FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 3/27/06

Freshman hurdler Amanda Acker, Fort Plain, NY, Fort Plain High School, met NJCAA National Championship qualifying standards for the Fighting Tiger women’s track & field team in the 100 & 400 Meter Hurdles at the 2006 Snowflake Invitational hosted by Northeastern University in Dedham, MA on Saturday. Acker placed sixteenth in the 100 Meter Hurdles in a time of 18.80 seconds and fifteenth in the 400 Meter Hurdles in a time of 1:18.39 for the Fighting Tigers.

Fighting Tiger freshman distance runner Creig Levens, Berlin, NY, Berlin High School, turned in the men’s track & field team’s top performance at the 2006 Snowflake Invitational hosted by Northeastern University in Dedham, MA on Saturday. Levens placed fifth overall in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase in a time of 10:57.51 for the Fighting Tigers.
