FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 2/25/07

The Fighting Tiger men’s basketball team dropped a pair of Mountain Valley Conference road contests during the week falling to Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, NY on Monday by a 69-63 score in double overtime the losing a 60-57 decision to Mohawk Valley Community College on Wednesday in Utica, NY. Senior swingman Devon Moore, Brooklyn, NY, Family Academy High School averaged 14.0 points per game in the contests. The Fighting Tigers close the regular season with a 21-7 overall record including an 11-5 mark in Mountain Valley Conference play.

The Cobleskill women’s basketball team posted three road victories during the week defeating Mountain Valley Conference rivals Delhi Tech in Delhi, NY 64-38 on Tuesday and Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY on Wednesday 74-56 before traveling to Franklin, MA on Saturday to defeat Division II Dean Junior College 55-54. Senior center Kim McMillen, Greenville, NY, Greenville High School, averaged a double/double in points and rebounds in the victories averaging 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest. The Fighting Tigers close the regular season with a 22-6 overall record including a 13-3 mark in conference play.
