FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 3/3/07

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team lost in the quarterfinals of the 2007 NJCAA Region III Division III Championship Tournament hosted by Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, NY on Friday by a score of 64-61 in overtime to Mohawk Valley Community College of Utica, NY. Freshman Jude Franck, Spring Valley, NY, Ramapo High School, scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds, passed out three assists and blocked five shots for the Fighting Tigers who close the season with a 21-7 overall record.

The Fighting Tiger women’s basketball team lost in the quarterfinal round of the 2007 NJCAA Region III Division III Championship Tournament hosted by Cayuga Community College in Auburn, NY by a 46-44 margin to Herkimer Community College from Herkimer, NY. Senior center Kim McMillen, Greenville, NY, Greenville High School, led the Fighting Tigers in scoring with 16 points as the Orange & Black close the season with a 22-7 overall record.

Senior thrower Kyle Robinson, Canastota, NY, Canastota High School, placed 24th in the Weight Throw for the Cobleskill men’s indoor track & field team at the 2007 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted over the weekend by the association at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
