FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 4/9/07

The SUNY Cobleskill tennis team split a pair of home matches during the week defeating visiting Holyoke Community College on Monday by a 5-4 margin then falling to visiting Mohawk Valley Community College on Wednesday by a 6-3 score. Freshman Greg Klopfer, Voorheesville, NY, Voorheesville High School, posted a pair of victories at the number four singles position for the Fighting Tigers during the week. The team is currently 1-2 overall on the season.

The Fighting Tiger men’s lacrosse team dropped a 32-4 decision to visiting Herkimer Community College on Monday in Mountain Valley Conference play. Freshman attackman/midfielder Andrew Abbott, Onondaga, NY, Onondaga High School, tallied a goal and two assists on the day for the Fighting Tigers who fall to 1-3 overall on the season with a 0-1 mark in conference play.
