FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 5/14/07

The SUNY Cobleskill women’s outdoor track & field team posted a score of 93 points to tie for second place in a field of 20 teams at the 2007 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by Howard Community College in Columbia, MD. The Fighting Tiger relay team of freshman Jennifer Villanova, Clifton Park, NY, Shenendehowa High School, senior Erinn O’Rourke, South Glens Falls, NY, South Glens Falls High School, freshman Regina Morgan, Brooklyn, NY, Prospect Heights High School, and senior Teresa Cox, Bellport, NY, Bellport High School, earned Second Team NJCAA All-American Team honors in the 4 X 100 Meter Relay placing second in a program record time of 51.49 seconds and the 4 X 400 Meter Relay placing second in a program record time of 4:12.00 for the Fighting Tigers.

The Fighting Tiger men’s outdoor track & field team scored 25 points to tie for tenth place in a field of 25 teams at the 2007 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by Howard Community College in Columbia, MD. Senior distance runner Creig Levens, Berlin, NY, Berlin High School, led the team in individual points scored placing third in the 10,000 Meters with a time of 35:45.42 seconds and sixth in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase with a time of 10:15.14.
