FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 9/4/06

Freshman April Ackermann, Cochecton, NY, Sullivan West High School, led the Fighting Tiger women’s cross country team to a victory at the college’s own SUNY Cobleskill Invitational on Saturday winning the meet’s individual title by completing the 3.12 mile course in a time of 18:45. Cobleskill posted a team score of 26 points to defeat reigning NJCAA Division III National Champion Mohawk Valley Community College.

The Cobleskill men’s cross country program posted a team score of 47 points to place second in a field of seven teams at the team’s SUNY Cobleskill Invitational on Saturday. Senior NJCAA All-American Creig Levens, Berlin, NY, Berlin High School, won the meet’s individual championship completing the 5.2 mile course in a time of 28:45 for his third career invitational victory.
