FULLER NAMED SUNY COBLESKILL MEN’S BASKETBALL MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team member senior, Harley Fuller, Gloversville, NY, Broadalbin-Perth Spa High School, has been named the program’s Most Valuable Player for the 2007-08 season. Fuller received his award at college’s 2008 Athletic Awards Convocation. The Fighting Tigers finished the season by winning the NJCAA Region III Division III Championship posting a 26-8 overall record on their way to a place in the 2008 NJCAA Division III “Final Four”.
During his career the 6’1” point guard was a was a two-time All-Mountain Valley Conference selection and a Third Team NJCAA All-Region III Division III Team honoree this year after averaging 6.8 points, 8.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 46.3 % from the field including 38.2% from three-point range and 66.7% from the free throw line. For his career Fuller averaged 6.1 points, 7.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 42.5% from the field including 31.9% from three-point range while shooting 67.6% from the free throw line. He finishes his career as the program’s career leader in assists with 434, assists per game at 7.1 per game and turnover-to-assist ratio in a career at 3.7 to 1 and for a single-season at 3.9 to 1 during 2007-08. Recently Fuller signed a full athletic scholarship to Florida International University of the SUN Belt Conference.
