FIGHTING TIGER MEN DROP 56-50 ROAD DECISION TO HERKIMER

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team saw their seven game winning streak come to an end last night dropping a 56-50 road decision to Herkimer Community College in Mountain Valley Conference action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 14-3 on the season with a 4-2 mark in conference play. Cobleskill had entered the contest ranked ninth in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll.

Senior swingman Brian Ledbetter, Schenectady, NY, Schenectady High School, tossed in 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in defeat for the Fighting Tigers while senior guard Darryl Burns Jr., Brooklyn, NY, High School of Art & Design, added 11 points on the night.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Saturday January 26th when they travel to Delhi, NY for a Mountain Valley Conference meeting with the Broncos of SUNY Delhi beginning at 3:00 PM.
