COBLESKILL LINKSTERS PLACE 5TH AT JAMESTOWN-OLEAN INVITE

Senior Andy Kincaid, Horseheads, NY, Horseheads High School, fired the SUNY Cobleskill golf team’s best individual round of the season at the Jamestown-Olean Invitational hosted by Jamestown-Olean Community College at the Bartlett Country Club in Olean, NY on Friday completing the loop with a score of 72 to place second overall in the event. Led by Kincaid, the Fighting Tigers posted a team score of 341 to place fifth in the field of nine teams.

Cobleskill also received a round of 85 from senior Adam VanBrocklyn, Lowville, NY, Lowville Academy, who finished in twentieth place.

The Fighting Tigers will continue their swing throw the western part of Region III traveling on Saturday April 19th to Clymer, NY for the 2008 Mercyhurst Northeast Invitational hosted by Mercyhurst Northeast College to be played at the Peek-N-Peak Country Club before competing at the 2008 Jamestown Community College Invitational to be hosted by Jamestown Community College at the Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua, NY.
