COBLESKILL LINKSTERS PLACE 3RD AT 2008 SUNY COBLESKILL INVITATIONAL

The SUNY Cobleskill golf team posted their most impressive outing of the season firing a team total of 328 to place third in a field of eight complete teams at the 2008 SUNY Cobleskill Invitational hosted by the Fighting Tigers at the Cobleskill Golf & Country Club on Sunday afternoon.

Senior Andy Kincaid, Horseheads, NY, Horseheads High School, once again led the way for the Orange & Black posting a score of 74 on the afternoon to place second overall. Rounding out the Cobleskill scoring were: senior Adam VanBrocklyn, Lowville, NY, Lowville Academy, who tied for eighth place with a round of 80, freshman Chris Neill, Henrietta, NY, Rush-Henrietta High School, who placed eleventh with a score of 81 on the afternoon and senior Adam Dubainski, Smithtown, NY, Smithtown High School, who shot a round of 93 to finish tied for thirty-first overall.

The Fighting Tigers are next tentatively scheduled to be in action on Friday May 2nd when they travel to Webster, NY for the 2008 Tribune Invitational to be hosted by Monroe Community College at the Webster Golf Club.
