KINCAID NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK
The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department Announced today that senior Andy Kincaid, Horseheads, NY, Horseheads High School, a member of the college’s golf team has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.
Kincaid fired a round of 78 on Saturday to place third in a field of 62-players at the 2008 Red Baron Invitational hosted by Corning Community College at the Mark Twain Golf Club in Elmira, NY leading the Fighting Tigers to a seventh place finish in the field of 12 teams with a team score 353. On Sunday, Kincaid was once again the low man for the Orange & Black with a round of 78 at the 2008 Tompkins-Cortland Community College hosted at the Elm Tree Golf Course in Cortland, NY. The Fighting Tigers posted a team score of 333 to finish tied for seventh in a 12 team field.
Cobleskill will next be in action at the 2008 NJCAA Region III Division III Championships hosted by Monroe Community College at the Webster Golf Club in Webster, NY on Monday May 12th and Tuesday May 13th. |
