FIGHTING TIGER GOLFERS PLACE 6TH AT 2008 MVCC INVITATIONAL

The SUNY Cobleskill golf team posted a team score of 388 to place sixth overall in a field of seven teams at the 2008 Mohawk Valley Community College Invitational hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College at the Hidden Valley Golf Club in Whitesboro, NY on Friday.

Senior Andy Kincaid, Horseheads, NY, Horseheads High School, was the Fighting Tigers top finisher at the tournament placing tenth overall with a score of 83 on the afternoon. Freshman Kenn Mann, Milford, NY, Milford High School, was also a factor in the team scoring for Cobleskill shooting a round of 88 good for twenty-first place against the field.

The Fighting Tigers are tentatively scheduled; weather permitting, to compete next on Saturday April 12th at the 2008 Broome Community College Invitational hosted by Broome Community College at the Endwell Greens Golf Club in Endwell, NY before traveling to the Bartlett Country Club in Olean, NY for the 2008 Jamestown-Olean Invitational hosted by Jamestown-Olean Community College on Sunday April 13th.
