FIGHTING TIGER LACROSSE DROPS 16-4 DECISION TO HUDSON VALLEY

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s lacrosse team dropped a 16-4 decision to Mountain Valley Conference rival Hudson Valley Community College at the Cobleskill Lacrosse Complex yesterday. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers’ overall record to 1-4 on the year with a 0-2 mark versus conference opponents.

Freshman midfielder/defenseman Blane Murray, Waterloo, NY, Waterloo High School, provided the highlights for the Orange & Black on the offensive end of the field with two goals and an assist on the afternoon. Cobleskill also received goals from senior midfielder Tom Cunningham, Skaneateles, NY, Skaneateles High School, and freshman defender Dan Russ, Rensselaer, NY, Columbia High School.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Friday April 13th when they travel, weather permitting, to Auburn, NY to meet the Spartans of Cayuga Community College at 4:00 PM.
