LEWIS NAMED NJCAA DIVISION III MEN’S
SOCCER PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill freshman goalkeeper Corey Lewis, Plattsburgh, NY, Chazy High School, has been named the NJCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Player-of-the-Week.

The freshman goalie recorded a pair of Mountain Valley Conference shutout road victories as the Fighting Tigers defeated SUNY Delhi 1-0 on Monday then came back on Wednesday to beat Hudson Valley Community College by an identical 1-0 margin this time in overtime. Lewis recorded five saves versus Delhi on Monday then came back on Wednesday to make five saves versus Hudson Valley on Wednesday.

The Fighting Tigers are currently 7-0 overall with a perfect 4-0 mark in Mountain Valley Conference play and ranked fourth in the current NJCAA Division III National Poll.
