NORBERG NAMED SUNY COBLESKILL MEN’S TENNIS TEAM’S 2004 MVP

Freshman Derek Norberg, Middleburgh, NY, Middleburgh High School, has been named the SUNY Cobleskill Men’s Tennis Team’s Most-Valuable-Player for the 2004 season. The award was presented to Norberg by Fighting Tiger Head Coach John Tassone at the college’s annual Athletic Awards Convocation.

Norberg was the team leader in overall victories on the year while playing first singles and first doubles for the Fighting Tigers. Cobleskill posted a 2-7 overall record for the 2004 season.
