ROBINSON NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that senior Kyle Robinson, Canastota, NY, Canastota High School, a member of the college’s men’s indoor track & field team has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.

The 6’8” 275 lbs thrower posted a first place finish in the 35 lbs Weight Throw improving on his NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship qualify toss with an effort of 15.16 meters at the prestigious 2007 Class of ’32 Invitational hosted by Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, on Saturday. Led by Robinson the Fighting Tiger men posted a team score of 22 points to place ninth overall in the event.
