FIGHTING TIGERS ROBINSON COMPETES AT 2007 NJCAA INDOOR TRACK & FIELD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

Senior thrower Kyle Robinson, Canastota, NY, Canastota High School, placed 24th in the Weight Throw for the Cobleskill men’s indoor track & field team at the 2007 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships hosted over the weekend by the association at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.

The 6’8’ 275 lbs senior’s best mark in the event was 12.60 meters, 41’1 ¼”, for the competition. Robinson is the first Fighting Tiger thrower to qualify for the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships and became the first Cobleskill team member to win a NJCAA Region III Championship in the event capturing the 2007 NJCAA Region III Championship at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY on February 18th.

The Fighting Tiger program will open the 2007 outdoor season at the United States Military Academy Invitational hosted by the Army in West Point, NY on Friday March 23rd and
Saturday March 24th.
