FARLEY NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that freshman Greg Farley, Babylon, NY, Babylon High School, a member of the Fighting Tiger men’s indoor track & field team has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.

Farley won the Region III Pentathlon championship at the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University in Ithaca, NY over the weekend. Farley posted a Cobleskill program record score of 3001 points to place second overall in the meet and first among Region III competitors. The Region III Championship in the event is determined at the Kane Invitational.

Farley has now qualified for the NJCAA National Championships hosted by Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL from Friday March 4th through Sunday March 6th.
