COBLESKILL’S BAEZ 6TH AT NJCAA INDOOR NATIONALS IN 800 METERS
SUNY Cobleskill men’s indoor track & field team member Johnny Baez, Nyack, NY, Nyack High School, brought home a sixth place finish in the 800 Meters from the 2004 NJCAA National Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted at Kansas State University’s Ahearn Field House in Manhattan, Kansas. The talented freshman broke his program record in the indoor 800 Meters in the process posting a time of 1:57.31 on the afternoon.
“We’re very proud of what Johnny has accomplished this season and are excited about what the outdoor season will bring,” said Fighting Tiger Head Coach Brad Fichthorn. “I think that we’re seeing the beginning of an exceptional career and the best is yet to come.”
The Fighting Tigers will open the outdoor season when they travel to Richard Stockton Invitational hosted by Richard Stockton College on Saturday March 20th in Pomona, NJ. |
