KEISER NAMED ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that senior Robert Keiser, Manhasset, NY, Manhasset High School, a member of the men’s track & field program has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.

The talented senior jumper opened the out door track & field season in style by winning the Triple Jump and the Long Jump at the Snowflake Classic hosted by Northeastern University in Dedham, MA over the weekend. Keiser defeated the field of predominately four-year competition by meeting NJCAA National Qualifying Standards in each event going for 6.81 meters in the Long Jump and 13.81 meters in the Triple Jump.

The Fighting Tigers are next in action on Wednesday March 30th when they travel to Delhi, NY for a mid-week NJCAA qualifying meet.
