FIGHTING TIGER MEN’S TRACK & FIELD RUNS DELHI QUALIFYING MEET

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s outdoor track & field program took advantage of excellent weather conditions to add to their ranks of NJCAA National Championship qualifiers at the Delhi Tech Mid-Week Qualifier hosted by Delhi Tech in Delhi, NY on Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Mike Craft, Colonie, NY, Colonie High School, won the Discus Throw in the non-scoring event improving his national qualifying mark and seed with a toss of 132’9”. Senior Alan Putzig, Conesus, NY, Livonia High School, also met the NJCAA qualifying mark in the Pole Vault winning the event with an effort of 11’10”. Fighting Tiger freshman sprinter Matt Czajkowski, Duanesburg, NY, Duanesburg High School, also turned in a national qualifying performance in the 200 Meter Dash placing second in the event with a time of 52.1 seconds.

The Fighting Tigers will next travel to Oneonta, NY on Saturday April 22nd to compete in the  Oneonta State Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta beginning at 2:00 PM.
