BOICE NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that freshman Brad Boice, Cambridge, NY, Cambridge High School, a member of the men’s track & field team has been named the college’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.

The talented sprinter won the 400 Meter Dash garnering the highest finish of any junior college athlete competing at the 2008 Dick Shea Invitational hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY on Saturday. Boice met the NJCAA Division III National Qualifying Standard in the event with a time of 51.87 seconds. For the meet the Fighting Tigers posted 10 national qualifying standard performances.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday April 5th when they travel to Allentown, PA for
the 2008 Muhlenberg College Invitational hosted by Muhlenberg College beginning at 10:00 AM.
