FERRER NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today the senior Crystal Ferrer, Bronx, NY, Redemption Christian Academy, a member of the women’s basketball program has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-week.

The senior center opened the season with 16 points and 19 rebounds in the team’s 71-45 victory versus Finger Lakes Community College in the team’s home opener on Thursday then notched a rare triple/double on Saturday in the team’s 65-38 win versus Clinton in Plattsburgh, NY with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Fighting Tigers will put their unbeaten record on the line on Thursday November 10th when they travel to Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, NY for their first Mountain Valley Conference game of the year when they meet the host Generals beginning at 7:00 PM.
