FIGHTING TIGER WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DROPS 72-46 DECISION TO BROOME
The SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball team suffered their first home loss of the season last night at the hands of the Lady Hornets of Broome Community College at the Iorio Gymnasium last night by a 72-46 margin. The defeat drops the Fighting Tigers to 5-3 on the season.
Senior point guard Meghan Smida, Cobleskill, NY, Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, led the team in scoring with a 10 point effort while senior guard/forward Kim Stahl, Scotia, NY, Scotia-Glenville High School, and senior power forward Kim McMillen, Greenville, NY, Greenville High School, each added nine points on the evening.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Thursday November 30th when they host Hudson Valley Community College in Mountain Valley Conference action beginning at 6:00 PM.
