COBLESKILL WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DROPS 65-50 ROAD DECISION TO HERKIMER COMMUNITY COLLEGE
The SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball team dropped their second straight Mountain Valley Conference road game last night falling to the Generals of Herkimer Community College by a 65-50 score. With the loss the Fighting Tigers overall record now stands at 12-5 on the year with a 6-2 mark versus league competition. Cobleskill had entered the game holding the number eighteen position in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll.
Senior forward Kim Stahl, Scotia, NY, Scotia-Glenville High School, led all scorers with an 18 point effort on the night. The Fighting Tiger also received strong efforts from the inside tandem of senior center Kim McMillen, Greenville, NY, Greenville High School, who scored 14 points on the evening and freshman center/forward April Ackermann, South Huntington, NY, Sullivan West High School, who added 12 points on the night.
Cobleskill will return to action on Monday January 29th when they will host the Broncos of Delhi Tech in Mountain Valley Conference action beginning at 7:00 PM.
