FIGHTING TIGER WOMEN FALL TO SUNY DELHI 49-45 IN MVC ACTION

The SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball team suffered a 49-45 Mountain Valley Conference loss to host SUNY Delhi last night in Delhi, NY. The Fighting Tigers who had entered the contest ranked ninth in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll fall to 15-3 overall on the season while the Broncos improve to 12-5 on the season.

Senior forward April Ackermann, South Huntington, NY, Sullivan West High School, tallied 13 points on the night to lead the Fighting Tigers while freshman swing-player Jessica Byerwalters, Coeymans Hollow, NY, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, added 10 points for the Orange & Black.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Thursday January 31st when they host the Royals of Schenectady Community College in Mountain Valley Conference beginning at 7:00 PM
