COBLESKILL WOMEN DROP 60-43 DECISION TO MOHAWK VALLEY

The SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball team dropped a 60-43 decision to visiting number nine ranked Mohawk Valley Community College in Mountain Valley Conference play last night at the Iorio Gymnasium in Cobleskill, NY. The loss drops the team to 17-4 overall on the year with a 7-3 record in conference play.

Freshman center Shelley Pierson, Watervliet, NY, Watervliet High School, led Cobleskill in scoring with 12 points to go with seven rebounds and three blocked shots on the evening while freshman forward Hannah Bushey, Essex, VT, Essex High School, added nine points for the Orange & Black.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Thursday February 7th when they travel to Johnstown, NY to meet the Raiders of Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Mountain Valley Conference action with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM.
