FIGHTING TIGER WOMEN FALL AT FMCC BY 53-32 MARGIN

The Fighting Tiger women’s basketball team suffered their worst defeat of the season last night losing to host Fulton-Montgomery Community College by a 53-32 margin last night in Johnstown, NY. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 19-4 on the season and puts their Mountain Valley Conference record at 10-3 on the year. Cobleskill had been ranked eighth in the current NJCAA Division III National Poll entering the contest.

Senior Crystal Ferrer, Bronx, NY, Redemption Christian Academy, was one of the few bright spots for the Fighting Tigers posting a nine point/nine rebound effort.

Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday February 11th when they host the Timberwolves of Adirondack Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference contest beginning at 12:00 PM.
