Bruce Perry
Bruce Perry enters his third season with the Fighting Tigers following a four-year stint as an assistant at Sage Junior College of Albany. Perry helped guide the NJCAA Division II program to a 20-8 record and the Region III Championship Game in 2001. It marked the first time in program history that a Sabre team advanced to a regional championship contest. The Junior College of Albany Athletic program was later dropped in 2003 opening the way for him to join the Fighting Tigers.
Perry is a native of the Albany area and has been involved in women’s basketball for over twenty-years. He is president of a six-team AAU basketball club located in Averill Park, NY, a staple on the women’s summer camp circuit, a certified basketball official as well as a certified New York State High School Basketball Coach. He has most recently coached in the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School program where he is employed as a teacher in the school district.
