Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that first-year runner Eamonn Sullivan, Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Fordham Preparatory School, a member of the men's indoor track & field team has been named the athletic program's Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending December 12, 2021.

The talented rookie was the Fighting Tigers top performer at the 2021 Utica Holiday Classic over the weekend hosted by Utica College at the Pioneers Todd & Jen Hutton Sports & Recreation Center leading the team to a seventh-place finish in a field of 12 teams at the meet.

Sullivan won the 3000-meter run at the meet by breaking the program record in event with a regional qualifying time of 8:45.55. He also placed fourth overall in the mile run with a time of 4:30.46 on the afternoon.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action after the holiday break on Saturday January 15^th when they return to Utica, N.Y. for the 2022 Winter Opener hosted by Utica College beginning at 10:30 a.m.
