Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team has been seeded first and will host the Western Division round of the 2024 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Play-offs to be played on Friday February 16 and Saturday February 17. The Eastern Division of the conference championship tournament will be hosted by the Mariners of Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, Maine also on February 16 and February 17.
The Fighting Tigers, who posted a 23-1 overall record including a perfect 12-0 mark versus league opponents, will meet the fourth seeded Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville at Cobleskill's Iorio Gymnasium on Friday February 16 with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Cobleskill swept the season series between the two programs defeating the Mustangs at home on December 2 by a 72-32 margin then defeating winning on the road at Morrisville on February 6 by a score of 70-48.
In Friday evening's second game at 7:30 p.m., the second seeded Kangaroos of SUNY Canton will meet the number three seeded Lions of Eastern Nazarene College.
The winners of Friday's contests will then meet for in the NAC Western Division Championship Game on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with the winner traveling to the winner of the conference's Eastern Division's home court for the league championship game and the conference's NCAA Division III Championship Tournament's automatic bid on Saturday February 24 at a time to be determined later by the league.
