Cobleskill, NY: Twenty-six SUNY Cobleskill student-athletes have been honored for their academic excellence by earning spots on the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Fall All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference on Friday.
 
The NAC Fall All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes from championship sports, including men's and women's cross country, women's tennis, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball. To qualify, student-athletes must be active members of their respective teams and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
 
A total of 349 student-athletes from 10 NAC institutions earned this distinction for Fall 2024, representing academic achievements across all class levels. This year's team includes 98 first-year students, 88 sophomores, 71 juniors, 75 seniors, and 17 graduate students.
 
Leading the way for SUNY Cobleskill, the Fighting Tigers' men's soccer team garnered eight selections, including four repeat honorees. Women's soccer and women's volleyball followed closely with six selections each, featuring one repeat honoree for women's soccer and three for volleyball. Men's cross country added three selections with one repeat honoree, while women's cross country contributed two, also with one repeat selection. Rounding out the group, men's golf secured one selection.
