The Ithaca, N.Y. native won the one meter diving event at the 2015 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Swimming & Diving Championships hosted over the weekend by the Fighting Tigers at the Bouck Hall Natatorium with a NCAA Division III Regional Qualify Score of 430.60 points to earn First Team All-NEAC honors.
Steelman along with her sophomore teammate Merrin Gural, Summit, N.Y., The Hewlett School, who placed second overall with a NCAA qualifying mark of 417.30 points, will become the first SUNY Cobleskill swimming & diving athletes in program history as well as the first NEAC swimming & diving athletes in conference history to compete in NCAA Regional Championship competition.
