The talented freshman diver qualified for the NCAA Division III Regional Diving Championships in the One Meter Dive by posting a new program record in the event with an 11-dive total of 429 points at home on Saturday in a dual meet competition versus Utica College.
With his qualifying effort Datri becomes the first male swimmer or diver in SUNY Cobleskill program and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) history to qualify for NCAA regional championship competition.
