The freshman sprinter the women’s team’s top performer at the 2016 New York State College Track Conference (NYSCTC) Indoor Championships hosted over the weekend by Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. Kourouma placed fourth overall in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:00.00 to earn All-NYSCTC Team honors and in the process meeting the 2016 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Indoor Championship Qualifying Standard.

Kourouma will next be in action at the 2016 ECAC Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships to be hosted by the ECAC at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex located at Ocean Breeze Park in Staten Island, N.Y. on Friday March 4^th and Saturday March 5^th.
