The freshman thrower was the men’s indoor track & field team’s top finisher at the Utica College Pioneer Invitational #3 hosted by the Pioneers at their Todd & Jenn Hutton Recreation Center in Utica, N.Y. on Saturday. Coene met the New York State College Track Conference (NYSCTC) provisional qualifying standard in the 35 lbs. weight throw with a toss of 46' 8 ¾".

Cobleskill will return to action after the winter break on Saturday February 11th when the team travels to Hamilton, N.Y. for the Class of ’32 Meet hosted by Colgate University at the Raiders’ at the Sanford Fieldhouse beginning at 10:00 a.m.
