The freshman pitcher/infielder hurled the Fighting Tigers past North Atlantic Conference (NAC) rival SUNY Canton on Wednesday afternoon 4-1 working 6 2/3 innings allowing one run on four hits striking out five and walking only one.

Tejada also went 1-for-2 at the plate during the week with a double and a run scored.
