The senior rider helped led the western team to a victory in the first of the season’s final two Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 events hosted by Morrisville State in Morrisville, N.Y. on Sunday. Reader tied for Reserve High Point Rider honors in the day’s first show won by Cobleskill by a 29-28 margin over the second place host Mustangs.

In the day’s first show, Reader tied for Reserve High Point Rider honors by placing fourth in Open Reigning and placing third overall in Open Western Horsemanship for a total of seven points which gave the Fighting Tigers a victory. In the second show, Reader placed third in Open Western Horsemanship as Cobleskill posted a team total of 16 points to finish in third place in the team standings for the event.

With her performances the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill alumnus finished the year with a final regular season total of 60 points to finish second overall among regional riders which earned her Regional Reserve High Point Rider honors for the season.
