The Schenectady, N.Y. native was the team’s top performer on Saturday at the 2013 Wesleyan University Indoor Track & Field Invitational hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. The talented rookie won the triple jump with a New York State College Track Conference (NYSCTC) Indoor Track & Field Championship qualifying mark of 42’9” while placing sixth overall in the long jump with a leap of 19’10 ¾” which also good enough to meet the league’s indoor championship qualifying standard.
