Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has named junior runner Alyssa Freeguard (Argyle, NY) as the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 3, 2024.
 
Freeguard delivered a standout performance at the North Atlantic Conference Championship meet hosted by SUNY Delhi, finishing fourth with a personal-best time of 23:01—shaving over a minute off her previous record. Leading for much of the race, she was part of a top-four group that broke the previous course record.
 
The Fighting Tigers will return to action at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship on November 16 in Fredonia, NY.
