Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has named second-year volleyball player Kathleen Smart (Nashville, Tenn./Pope John Paul II Prep) as the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the period ending November 10, 2024.
Smart played a pivotal role in securing the NAC West Division Championship for the Fighting Tigers last Sunday in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over SUNY Delhi. She recorded a team-high 22 digs, along with 12 kills and three aces, delivering key contributions at the net and on the back line to help the Tigers advance.
Next up, the Fighting Tigers will host Maine Maritime Academy in the NAC Championship this Saturday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. in the Iorio Gymnasium.
