Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has named senior guard Taylor Meacham (Berne, NY/Berne-Knox-Westerlo) the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 2, 2025.

Meacham played a pivotal role in leading the Fighting Tigers to their first-ever North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship and the program’s first conference title since joining the Division III ranks. She was named the NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after a standout performance in the championship game, where she tied her career high with 24 points while adding six rebounds, a steal, and an assist. She shot an impressive 62.5 percent from the field (10-for-16) in the victory.

Meacham and the Fighting Tigers will return to action on Friday, March 7, when they face Smith College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tip-off is set for 6:45 p.m. in Northampton, MA.
