Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has named sophomore lacrosse player Alex Baker (Guilford, VT/Brattleboro Union) as the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 9, 2025.

Baker opened the season with a standout performance, totaling seven goals and an assist as the Fighting Tigers split their first two games. He led the charge in a victory over Purchase College, posting a game-high five points with a career-high four goals on six shots on goal, plus an assist and three ground balls. Against Anna Maria, he continued his strong play, finishing with a team-best three goals.

The Fighting Tigers return to action on March 15, traveling to Elmira College for a 12:00 p.m. non-conference matchup.
