Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that senior women’s soccer player Jessica Carney (Hopkinton, NH) and senior men’s golfer Joshua House (Saratoga Springs, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending September 7, 2025.

Carney sparked the Cobleskill offense with two goals on three shots in the Tigers’ match against SUNY Morrisville, recording the program’s first multi-goal game since September 4, 2022.

House led the Fighting Tigers on the course with a fifth-place finish in a field of 70 golfers, posting a two-day score of six-over par. After opening with a 77 (+5) on Saturday, he surged up the leaderboard on Sunday with a 73 (+1), climbing 11 spots. Over the weekend, he tallied seven birdies, including four in the opening round and three in the finale.
