The Guilderland native was the team’s top finisher at the 2019 Jim Thorpe Open Meet hosted by Big 10 member institution Penn State University in University Park, Pa. on Friday May 3. Monsen placing second overall in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:01.24 at the non-scoring qualifying meet.
