The veteran middle hitter averaged 2.0 kills, 1.0 blocks and .667 service aces per set in six contests as the Fighting Tigers posted non-conference wins on the road over host Green Mountain College on Tuesday in Poultney, Vt. 3-1 by set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-19 followed on Saturday by a 3-0 victory over Johnson State College hosted by Cobleskill at Fort Edward High School in Fort Edward, N.Y. by scores of 25-6, 25-11 and 25-20. With the non-conference wins the Orange & Black improved to 4-1 overall on the season.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday September 14 when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y.to compete in the Mustang Invitational beginning at 3:00 p.m. when they meet D’Youville College followed by a match versus the host Mustangs of Morrisville State College at 5:00 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Sunday September 15 when Cobleskill will face Penn State Behrend at 1:00 p.m. then close out the action at 3:00 p.m. against Keystone College.
