The freshman jumper was the Fighting Tigers top performer at the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Thursday May 15 and Friday May 16 at the Engineer’s Harkness Field in Troy, N.Y. Reid placed second the triple jump by posting one of the longest marks in the country to date, currently ranking second nationally, in the event with a mark of 48’7 ¼” to earn All-ECAC honors.

By virtue of his efforts the Amityville, N.Y. native has qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division III National Championships to be hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio at the college’s George Gauthier Track from Thursday May 22 thru Saturday May 24.
