The freshman jumper placed ninth overall in the triple jump for the Fighting Tigers men's track & field team at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio at the college's Shelby Stadium/George Gauthier Track on Saturday May 24. Reid narrowly missed NCAA All-American honors placing ninth with a mark of 47' 7 ¼".

The Amityville, N.Y. native is the first SUNY Cobleskill men’s track & field athlete to compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the history of the program.
