The freshman harrier was the Fighting Tigers top finisher at the 2014 Purple Valley XC Invite hosted by Williams College at the historic Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown, Mass. on Saturday afternoon. Running against a national caliber field Piersiak placed 123rd overall in the 267 runner field by completing the 6000-meter course in a time of 25:35.6. Led by the Staten Island, N.Y. native, the Orange & Black placed 19th overall in the 26 team field with a team total of 575 points.
