The sophomore co-captain led Fighting Tigers to their record setting sixth consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship on Saturday at the league’s 2014 cross country championships hosted by Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. at Kenilworth Park. Cobleskill posted a team total of 46 points to easily outdistance the other 14 teams in the field to claim the title while Tommell earned First Team All-NEAC Team honors at the event by placing second overall in the 88 runner field by establishing a new women’s cross country program record at the 6000-meter distance with a time of 22:32.8.
